PRACTICE UPDATE- ‘Living with Covid’ Feb 22
As of 24/02/2022 the Government lift the remaining Covid precautions for the general public.
As a Healthcare facility, we are still required to operate in a safe manner under the guidance of the Chief Dental Officer.
We will continue to ask patients to:
- Wear a face mask whilst onsite – this is to protect other vulnerable patients in the building
- We will continue to operate a ‘at the door’ pre-screen to ensure everyone on site feels safe
- If you feel unwell- please do not attend and re-arrange your appointment. – This is to protect our staff.
WHY?
Whilst the rule of isolation has ended – the rule are different for health care workers, we are still required to take tests and isolate.
We ask that patients continue to work with us and rearrange their appointments if they feel unwell. We kindly ask that patients be mindful of the impacts on our services. A single unwell patient may trigger a minimum loss of one day if the dentist is required to test/isolate. This means possible service disruption to several patients.
For patients that are unwell but require urgent dental care, we have a procedure in place that will ensure that you are looked after for this. Please contact the practice via phone/email and speak to a member of staff.
Our staff are working incredibly hard to follow industry specific guidance ensuring a safe environment for all- we appreciate the continued support and understanding from our patients.
We kindly ask that all patients approach our staff with kindness and understanding.
If you have any questions or queries regarding our current guidance and procedures, it is best to email into the practice.
